Alexander "Alex" James Belmont, 41 of Alma, passed away Friday, August 4, 2017.
He was born November 26, 1975 in Ramstein, Germany to Donald and Virginia "Ginger" Belmont.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fort Smith and was an employee of Target. He was a huge fan of the Denver Broncos and the Boston Red Soxs.

He was preceded in death by a half-brother Michael.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fort Smith. Cremation is under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.

Alex is survived by his wife Betsy of the home, father; Donald Thomas Belmont, Jr., his mother Virginia "Ginger" Lee Sparks Belmont of Fort Smith, two Aunts; Marilyn Newman and Sharon Coan, two Uncles, Lewis Sparks, Jr. and David Sparks and their extended families, his In-laws; David and Belva Ricks and their extended families, and his half-sister Jeanette Rose Belmont of Massachusets. Alex is also survived by numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
