Barbara Sue Belz, 60, of Taylor died Sunday, September 12, 2004, at Johns Community Hospital. Celebration of life memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 16, 2004, at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Barbara was born in Washington D.C., on December 24, 1943, to Eber and Mildred (Sharp) Hall. She married Jimmy Belz in Elgin, Texas, on February 12, 1983. Barbara was a longtime resident of Taylor. Barbara loved her grandparent's farm in the hills of Ohio, the coast, camping, fishing. She spent a lot of time researching family history and recording her findings. She was tough, could handle anything, and never backed down when things got tough. You could always count on Barbara. She was a City Clerk for nine years serving with the integrity, dedication, and a true love of her job and the people of the community that she served. Barb is preceded in death by her parents, Eber and Mildred Hall. Barbara is survived by her husband, Jimmy Belz of Taylor; a son, Brian Hall of Taylor; a stepdaughter, Tanya White and her husband, Kevin of Hutto; a stepson, Jimmy Belz Jr. of Georgetown; grandchildren, K. J. White and Courtney White of Hutto; a brother, Russell Hall of MO.; sisters, Linda Hahn of OH., Jane Perlak of WI., and Judy Water of MO.
