CHRISTINE BENAK
Christine Benak, 89, Los Angeles, Calif., died Tuesday.
She was born in Czechoslovakia, June 16, 1899, and immigrated to Chicago when she was a child.
She married Henry Benak of Tipton County. He preceded her in death.
She lived in Chicago until 1940 when she moved with her husband and children to Windfall. She moved to Los Angeles following the death of her husband where she lived with her daughter.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Terwilliger of Los Angeles; a son, Henry J. Benak of Anderson; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Interment was in Sunset Memorial Park in Elwood.
