Passed away suddenly at his residence, age 68 years. Predeceased by father, Dr. Ray Bennett. Leaving to mourn his wife June; his mother Peg; Daughter, Natasha Smith (Kevin); Son, Raymond; Step-daughter, Karen Templeman (Dean Collett); Step-son, Garth Templeman (France Guillemette); Grandchildren, Connor and Lilly Smith, Emma and Ethan Collett, Daniel Templeman; Brother, Garth Bennett (Margaret- Ann); Sister, Diana Currie (Jack); As well as a number of nieces, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barretts Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Tuesday from 7p.m. - 9p.m., on Wednesday from 2p.m. - 4p.m. and 7p.m. -9p.m., and on Thursday from 10a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service 2:30 PM on Thursday, May 28th, 2009, from Church Of The Ascension, Smallwood Dr., Mt. Pearl. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are being gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Heart And Stroke Foundation.
