E. Maxine Bennett, 71 of Rosedale, died July 6, 2001, in Women's and Children's Hospital in Charleston.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Beech Grove Baptist Church in Nicut. elder Charles Fisher will officiate. Interment will be in the Mill Fork Cemetery, Rosedale. Friends may call form 6-9 today at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg.

E. MAXINE BENNETT - Rosedale

E. Maxine Bennett, 71 of Rosedale, went to be with the Lord July 6, 2001 at Women's and Children's Hospital, Charleston following a brief illness.

Born at Nicut, Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late Riley and Sara Bishop McCumbers.

She was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Eugene Bennett and four sons, Danny Bennett and his wife, Kathy, Larry Bennett, Doyle Bennett and his wife Joyce, Marvin Bennett and his wife, Belinda all of Rosedale; a daughter, Nina Cook and her husband, Jerden also of Rosedale; two sisters, Goldie Talkington of Vienna and Chessie Talkington of Newton Falls, Ohio; a brother, Charlie McCumbers of Nicut; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Hazel McCumbers, Mary Redman and Birdie Goodrich; four brothers, Russell, Noah, Ernest and Brooks McCumbers; a daughter-in-law, Rosalie Bennett and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Beech Grove Baptist Church, Nicut. Elder Charles Fisher will officiate. Interment will be in the Mill Fork Cemetery, Rosedale. Friends may call at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg from 6-9 p.m. Sunday.
