LAURA ALTMAN (NEE: BENNETT) - 83
Mrs. Laura Bennett Altman, 83, died at her home north of Glen St. Mary, Saturday following an illness of 14 months. She was a native of Baker County and had spent her entire life here. Mrs. Altman was a devout member of the North Prong Primitive Baptist Church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Edwards of Maxville, Mrs. Minnie Combs of Glen St. Mary, Mrs. Verlie Mae Rewis of Marianna, two sons, A.D. Altman of Glen St. Mary and C.A. Altman of Macclenny, one sister, Mrs.Ella Crawford of Macclenny, one brother, Joseph Bennett of Sanderson, 35 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Sunday at North Prong Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Ben Thomas officiating. Interment was in North Prong Cemetery.
