Funeral services for Albert W. Bennett were held from the M. H. church, Monday, the Rev. L. J. Sheldon officiating. Mr. Bennett passed away Saturday after a lon gillness.
The deceased was born in Ohio, April 2, 1864. When five years of age he went with his parents to Iowa, where he resided until coming to Hand County. On January 1st, 1890 he was married to Martha J. Darrough and to this union were born three children, Millard F., Lawrence A., and Olive E., all of Miller.
The deceased had been in poor health for ten years, but during his illness he was patient and kind, and learned to smile through suffering.
In early life he joined the Methodist church in New York, Ia., and remained a member of that church until death.
Surviving are his widow, three children and eight grandchildren.
