Gloris A. Allen, 68, of Parkersburg died March 3, 2002 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Parkersburg on Dec. 21, 1933, a daughter of the late Brady and Annie Elsie Reynolds Bennett. She was a homemaker and attended the Prayer Chapel Church on
Rayon Drive.

She is survived by three daughters, Evelyn Epler and her husband, Stan of Davisville, Theresa Whitley and her husband, Ralph of Jasksonville, Fla., Belinda Santamore and her husband, Gary of Biloxi, Miss.; three sons, Donald Newhouse and his wife, Judy of Vienna, James Newhouse and his wife, Candy of Tabernacle, N.J., and Kenneth Newhouse and his wife, April of Parkersburg; three step-sons, Michael Allen of Belpre, Tim Allen of Raleigh, N.C., and Mark Allen of Iowa; two step-daughters, Sarah Paul, and Peggy Allen both of Brownsmills, N.J.; three sisters, Jean Porter of Belpre, Elocile Barnes, and Wilda Bennett both of Parkersburg; three step-sisters, Clara Bell Huglind, Donna Hendricks, and Harriet Porter all of Parkersburg; two step-brothers, Edgell Dowler of California, and Clarence Dowler of Parkersburg; 12 grandchildren; four
step-grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two infant brothers; two brothers, Chester and Denzil Bennett; two sisters, Sue Gasten and Phyllis Hunt; her husband, Myron Gene Allen; one step-son, Christopher Allen.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home of South Parkersburg with Rev. Carroll Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory
Gardens. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday.
