        Mrs. Helen Aliff Dies In Hospital


Mrs. Helen Aliff, 61, of Eccles, died at 9 p.m. Friday in a local hospital following a long illness.

Funeral services will be at the Melton Mortuary chapel at 1 p.m. today with the Revs. Sam G. Foley and W. J. Mullins officiating.

Born March 11, 1912 at Lansing, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Pearl Kincaid Bennett.

Mrs. Aliff, a resident of Eccles for the past 44 years, was a member of the Eccles Church of God.

Survivors include her husband, Frank; two daughters, Mrs. Glen (Jo Etta) Smith of Gary, Ind., and Mrs. Helen Roberts of Eccles; two sons, Norman of Eccles and Donald of Gary, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Gordon (Lillian) Hinte of Eccles and Mrs. Clarance (Rene) Sturidvant of Covington, Ky.; and two brother, Frank Bennett of Hinton and Johnny Bennett of Silver Gore, Ky.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Pauline, in 1950.

The body will remain at Melton Mortuary where friends may call until funeral time, with burial in the Calfee Cemetery at Mt. Tabor.

Pallbearers will be Hubert Herron, Paig Muovich, Michael Muovich, Russell Bennett, Robert Bennett and Freddie Keller.
