LINCOLN D. LYNDE was born July 14, 1819 in Antwerp, Jefferson Co., New York, and died June 20, 1887 in Antwerp, Jefferson Co., New York.

He married (1) LYDIA MARSH in Antwerp, Jefferson Co., New York. She was born Bet. 1820 - 1821 in Antwerp, Jefferson Co., New York, and died May 12, 1874 in Antwerp, Jefferson Co., New York.

He married (2) ESTHER ARLOW January 04 in Antwerp, Jefferson Co., New York.

Lincoln D., son of Elliott, was born in Antwerp, July 14, 1819. He married, first, in 1864, Lydia Marsh, of this town, and they had two sons and two daughters, namely: Alice, Ella E. and Eugene A. (twins), and Arthur L. For his second wife he married, in 1876, Esther T., widow of Thomas Arlow. He died June 20, 1887.

Arthur L. Lynde was born April 14, 1863. He received a liberal education and was a student in the agricultural department of Cornell University for two years and a half. April 13, 1885, he married Ardell E., eldest daughter of Abram G. Schermerhorn, of West Union, Iowa, and they have had two sons, Harold Adolphus and Harry E. D. The former was born June 14, 1887, and died September 30, 1888. Harry E. D. was born February 4, 1889.

Spears & Lynde of this village, who also conduct a branch store at Sterlingbush, have purchased J.H. Hungerford's stock of groceries in the latter place.

Spears & Lynde and Albert H. Nutting are buying quite a number of bob veals, for which they pay from $1 to $1.50 each.

They shipped Saturday a carload of milk cows and fat cattle to Connecticut, They paid from $35 to $40 for the milch cows and from $13 to $24 for the fat cattle.
