Born in Los Angeles, maiden name Bevilacqua, graduated Washington High then married Leonard F. Berardino in 1953. They lived in Inglewood and relocated in 1965 to Cypress. Her hobbies included cake decorating, sewing, knitting, and numerous arts and crafts. She created several award winning porcelain dolls.
Dolly worked for Virginia's Gift Shop then J.C. Penney, retiring in 1999. She began taking care of her newborn grandson on weekdays. She was an amazing NaNa and these were the happiest days of her life!
Dolly passed away at the age of seventy-seven and is survived by her devoted spouse of fifty-eight years, son, Vic, daughter, Maryann, son-in-law, Scott Hughey, and grandson, Brock.
