Mrs. Esther R. Faber, 75, of Orange City died Wednesday at St. Luke's Hospital, Sioux City, after a brief illness.

Services were Friday, Aug. 31 at 10:30 a.m. at Calvary Christian Reformed Church. Rev. John T. Ebbers officiated.

Mrs. Faber was born Jan. 12, 1909 at Carnes, the daughter of Henry and Anna (Tamminga) Berkenpas.

She married William Faber Feb. 19, 1936, at Orange City. He died March 30, 1982.

Most of her life has been spent in the Orange City area and they moved into Orange City in 1951. She was employed at the Orange City Hospital for 25 years.

She was a member of the Calvary Christian Reformed Church. Survivors include three sons, Harry William and Marvin H., both of Boyden and Kenneth of Sioux Center; five brothers, Richard of Sioux Center, Don, Gilbert and Darrell, all of LeMars, Harold of Omaha, Neb.; one sister, Mrs. Mitchell (Gertrude) Zoerink, of LeMars; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William, two brothers, Leonard and Sid.
