BERMAN, Gary M May 5, 1942 - April 29, 2014 Gary passed away at 71 on April 29th in Van Nuys after a lengthy struggle with renal cancer.
Born in Sacramento to Jack and Berniece, a graduate of UC Berkeley and Whittier Law School, he left the US Air Force as a Captain after being stationed in Vietnam and Thailand. Gary worked for 45 years as a software engineer in various industries, predominantly aerospace.
He is survived by his devoted wife, by his loving son and daughter-in-law and by his faithful dog..
Funeral services will be held at Hillside Memorial Park on Friday, May 2nd at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, SPCALA or the Sierra Club.
