For more than ninety-one years, he has shared his love, compassion, and devotion to his friends and family. He was the most loving, adoring, kind and generous gentleman we have ever known.
He is survived by his loving wife Marianne, adoring children Claudia (Bruce) Resnikoff, Michelle (Alan) Kaye, and daughter-in-law Judy Berman, and seven cherished grandchildren, Sloane, Spencer, and Skye Berman, Gillian and Danielle Kaye, and Nicole and Blake Resnikoff. He was predeceased in death by his son, Dr. Phillip Berman.
Martin was born in Philadelphia. After graduating from Temple University, he served his country with distinction as a Lieutenant in the infantry stationed on the European front. When he returned home and joined his family who moved to California, Martin attended Southwestern Law School and graduated Cum Laude in 1948.
After establishing a successful law practice, his real dreams were fulfilled when set up on a date with his adoring Marianne in 1951. Marianne and Martin were engaged one week after meeting and married two months later...they have shared a fifty-nine-year love affair.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Hillside Memorial Park at 10:00 p.m.
