Dr. O.M. "Budd" Berringer Jr., 66, of Orlando, FL, passed away Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2002. He was born in Wilkinsburg, PA on January 26, 1936 to Anne Carney and Orville Berringer. He graduated with degrees from Loch Haven University, Florida State University, and the University of Oregon. He had been a professor and advisor at the University of Central Florida for the past 21 years. Prior to moving to Central Florida, Dr. Berringer was on the faculty at Florida State University. He is survived by wife Rowena Lynn Merritt Berringer; children Jennifer and Chad Berringer; siblings Donna Jean Gross, Donald L. Berringer and Linda A. McCrea; as well as many extended family members. He also leaves behind many dear friends (including his trusted companion Jake) colleagues and students whose lives he has touched. Please join in celebrating the life of Dr. Budd Berringer, the man who always told us "no one ever promises you tomorrow" and "if I die tomorrow, don't be sad because I have had a great life."
