Minnie Mae Mossman 1985 Bridgewater Bulletin

The death of Minnie Mae Mossman of Rhodes Corner occurred at the Dawson Memorial Hospital early on April 5, 1985, at the age of 79, after a short illness.

Born in Big Lots, she was the daughter of the late Enos and Sarah (Whitman) Berringer. Living her early life in the Fauxburg, Blockhouse area, she later moved to Rhodes Corner, where she became a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and St. Luke's Ladies Aid.

She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn of Back Centre and Heather, at home; two sons, Clyde, Rhodes Corner; Hughie, Chelsea; one sister, Annie (Mrs. Uriel Ernst); a brother, Hughie; and a foster brother, Willis Williams, all of Blockhouse; and six grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Roy; a daughter, Irene; also two brothers, Harvey and Howard, who had passed away five days after her death.

The funeral was held on Easter Sunday at 4:30 p.m. in St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Rhodes Corner with Rev. Stephen Jasch officiating. The choir choir, assisted by Mrs. Shirley Richardson as organist, sang the hymns, "Abide With Me" and "Amazing Grace."
