FINAL RITES ARE HELD FOR MRS. BESSIE BERRINGER, 75

Mrs. Bessie M. Berringer, wife of Fred Berringer of 1204 South Cedar street, Auburn, died at the age of 75 at the Dr. J. A. Sanders hospital in Auburn at 4:30 a.m. Monday.

Mrs. Berringer had been in ill health for the past two years and had been hospitalized for nine week. She succumbed to a complications of diseases. She would have observed her 76th birthday Feb. 5. Mrs. Berringer had re-sided in Auburn for 53 years.

The body was removed to the Dilgard & Cline funeral home in Auburn where final rites were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Alva Klopfenstein of Auburn officiating. Assisting was the Rev. Lloyd Harlan, pastor of the First Church of God, of which Mrs. Berringer was a member. Burial followed in Rose-lawn cemetery, near Auburn.

She was born in DeKalb county on Feb. 5, 1883, the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth Hoover Texter. She and Mr. Berringer were married in January of 1903.

Surviving in addition to the husband are a daughter, Mrs. William T. Graham of North Clark street, Auburn, and a sister, Mrs. William Graham of 1902 South Wayne street, Auburn.
