Andrew was a single man of 32 when he died of Tuberculosis Of The Lungs, at the Hamburg Tuberculosis Sanatorium in Pennsylvania. He lived in rural Bethlehem Pa. prior to his February 1919 arrival, where he lived for a month. Born in Italy he was the son of Andrew Bertini. He was buried on the grounds of the institution in their cemetery.
