TRION, GA - Mrs. Burma Bailey, age 94 of Oak Street, Trion, GA passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Oakview Nursing & Rehab Center.

Mrs. Bailey was born January 11, 1918 in Dekalb County, AL.

She was retired from the LaFayette Shirt Factory and was a member of the Trion Heights Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by husband, Roy Bailey; son, Duard Bailey; daughter, Margaret Faye Bailey; grandson, Allen Bailey; father and mother, William Alexander Bethune and Charity Rose Bethune.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by grandson, Taft Bailey; daughter-in-law, Edie Bailey of Powder Springs, GA; granddaughters, Tiffany Cook of Powder Springs, GA and Peri Dockins of Acworth, GA; great grandsons, Aaron Bailey and Jake Bailey of Atlanta, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Johnson officiating.

Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens.

Visitation for Mrs. Burma Bailey will be Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Family & Friends.
