Eva M. Bayes, age 88 of Eaton Rapids, died Saturday, October 26, 2002 in Lansing. Eva was born June 26, 1914 in Raeford, NC, the daughter of William Lauchlin and Eva Briety (McFayden) Bethune. She was a member of the Eaton Rapids First United Methodist Church and the Esther Circle. Mrs. Bayes was preceded in death by her husband, Harland in 1993 and her son. Frederick Lynn Bayes in 1964.
Surviving are her 3 sons, Dick (Barbara) Bayes, Allan (Sandy) Bayes, Ron (Mona) Bayes.
