Hildreth resident Aaron M. Betty, 28, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at his home in Hildreth.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 6, at Bethany Lutheran Church in
Minden with the Rev. Donald Hunzeker officiating.

Aaron was born Aug. 1, 1982, in North Platte, Neb., to Neil and Cynthia (Bauer) Betty.
They moved to Minden in 1994, and Aaron graduated from Minden High School in 2001. He graduated from Central Community College in Hastings with a degree in diesel technology. Aaron worked for Nebraska Machinery Company in Doniphan, Neb., and then worked for his father on the farm near North Platte. He was currently working for his uncle at Bauer Repair near Hildreth.
Aaron enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and hanging out with his friends. He especially enjoyed time with his niece and nephew, Makenna
and Maverick.
Survivors include his mother, Cindy Oates of Minden; his father and stepmother, Neil and Judy Betty of North Platte; brother, Justin Betty and his wife Lisa of Minden; two step-sisters, Kris Morton and her husband Scott of Lincoln and Shelly Miller and her husband, Lanny of Shawnee, KS; and grandmother, Carolyn Bauer of Hildreth.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Allen and Naomi Betty and Carl F. Bauer; uncle, Craig Bauer; and cousin, Rikki York.
