LORRAINE BEARS
Funeral services for Lorraine Bears, 36, of 402 Walnut, Rock Springs, were conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Vase Funeral Home, the Rev. Dennis Serdahl of St. John’s Episcopal Church officiating. Burial was in Paul J. Wataha Memorial Park section of Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Charles Bittner, Joseph Buh, Jerry Walker, Vern Johnson, Gene Johnson and Jack Seppie.
Mrs. Bears died Monday, April 16, at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, where she had been a patient for two weeks. She had been in ill health since Jan. 1.
She was born Oct. 15, 1936 at Boulder, Colo. and attended schools in Rock Springs. A former longtime resident of Rock Springs, she had resided for several years in Hulett before returning here last November.
Survivors include five sons, Teddy, Eddie, Mike and Bobby, all of Hulett, and Ronnie of Rock Springs; three daughters, Mrs. Sam (Sally) Waugh and Terry Clark, both of Hulett and Cindy Bears of Rock Springs; her mother, Mrs. Evodie Palmer of Rock Springs; one brother, Kenneth Beveridge of Rock Springs; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Margaret) Buh of Green River and Mrs. Charles (Jean) Bittner of Rock Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, William Beveridge and Robert Beveridge.
