BALDONI, Julia Julia Bianchi Baldoni of Old Saybrook, was born in Ivoryton on January 6, 1913. The first born child of Battista and Giovanna Bianchi, she married Louis Baldoni (1909-1988) and moved to Old Saybrook in 1940. She died peacefully in her home after a long illness on January 13, 2011. She is survived by a loving family: daughter Ann (Carl) Abell of East Haddam; son James Baldoni of Hamden; her sister Rose Cutone of Deep River; grandson Christopher (Nery) Baldoni of Hamden; grandson Matthew (Kim) Baldoni of Cheshire; granddaughter Katherine (Dino) Coppi of Scottsdale, AZ. She is also survived by her great grandchildren: James and Isabella Baldoni of Hamden; Riley Julia Baldoni of Cheshire and Dax James Coppi. She left behind a lifetime of wonderful memories and a legacy of love for all she knew. Family and friends may visit the Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Rd., Old Saybrook on Monday (January 17, 2011) from 4-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 7pm.
