HINTON -- Scheduled for questioning today in the Christmas Eve stabbing of his brother-in-law is 33-year-old Arthur Biggs, of Quinwood. Held in the Summers County Jail on an open charge following the death at 10:15 p.m. Wednesday of Arthur Ray Keaton, 22, Biggs was described by officers as being so intoxicated at the time of his arrest they were unable to question him. HINTON -- Arthur McNeil Biggs, 32. has been formally charged with the murder of his brother in law, Arthur Ray Keaton. Keaton was stabbed about 9:30 p. m. Christmas Eve near the Biggs apartment on Summers St.. He died soon after being admitted to Hinton Hospital. Police Capt. C. H. Shirey charged Biggs with murder in a preliminary hearing Wednesday before Magistrate Judge Ryalls. Capt. Shirey said that Biggs had been questioned at length with a lie detector Tuesday night and earlier, but stated that any report on evidence found would have to come from the prosecuting attorney.
