Elmer H. Biggs
Elmer Howard Biggs, 80, Harper Heights, died at his residence Friday at 7:45 a.m. of an apparent heart attack.
He was born in Beckley on July 4, 1886, a son of the late R. G. Biggs and Catherine Winsor Biggs. He was a resident of Raleigh County his entire life.
He is survived by his wife, Louemma, at home; three sons, Charles R. and Frederick H., both of Hyattsville, Md., and Benjamin S. of Harper Heights; one sister, Mrs. Georgie Snyder, Hurricane; and nine grandchildren.
The body is at the Calfee Funeral home where friends may call after 2 p.m Sunday.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. W. F. Tolliver, Sophia, in charge. Burial will follow at the Calfee Cemetery in Mt. Tabor.
