Robert Harmon Biggs, 80 of Beckley passed away Friday November 4, 2005 at the Beckley VA Medical Center following a long illness.
Born August 20, 1925 he was the son of the late Henry and Maggie Samples Biggs.
Mr. Biggs served his country in World War II as a gunner instructor for the B-29 in Army Air Corps.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Biggs was preceded in death by his brothers Henry, James, John Ernest and Russell Biggs.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Barbara Cole Biggs; a daughter, Cynthia Sweeney and her husband Dwayne and their son, Shawn of Greenville, SC; a son Robert L. Biggs of New Haven, CT.; and a sister Corena Meador and her husband Frank of Pontiac, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews.
