Edward and Calista were the parents of two daughters: Mary Louise Kinsley born in Boston March 6, 1865, married Winthrop Lincoln Rogers; Adelaide Peabody Kinsley married Alfred William Carr.

MRS. CALISTA A. KINSLEY DEAD
She Was the Widow of Edward W. Kinsley Whom,
She Aided in His Efforts in Behalf of the Soldiers.
Mrs. Calista Adelaide Kinsley, widow of Edward Wilkinson Kinsley, died Wednesday night at her home, 1410 Beacon St., in her 70th year.
Mrs. Kinsley's husband was of great service to the country during the civil war and numbered among his friends, Pres. Lincoln and Gov. Andrew, the Massachusetts war governor. He rendered valuable aid that was recognized as most meritorious during the war, and after if was finished a G.A.R. post took his name.
In his efforts for the soldier of that day, he was aided with the most sincere wholeheartedness by his wife. Mrs. Kinsley did not cease her charitable work when her husband died and for many years had been an active worker in Dr. Edward E. Hale's church. Since the war, she had also given great help in the education of the negro.
Two daughters, Mrs. Alfred W. Carr and Mrs. Winthrop L. Rogers, survive the deceased.
