Mrs. Dorothy J. Arbuckle, 79, a resident of Pittsburg, Kansas and former Trenton, MO. resident, died Thursday afternoon, September 26, 2013, at Via Christi Hospital, Pittsburg.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at 1:00 P.M. at the Slater Funeral Home, Trenton. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Trenton, MO.
Family visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dorothy J. Arbuckle was born November 05, 1933, in Putnam County, MO, the daughter of Josephus Elizah and Flora Pauline Robbins Billingsley. She attended Trenton High School. She was co-owner of Arbuckle Maytag Appliance before retiring.
On March 24, 1950, she was married to Glenwood Junior Arbuckle in Trenton, Missouri. He preceded her death on Feb. 16, 2007.
Her survivors include one daughter Glenda Harding of Trenton. Two sons Mike Arbuckle and wife Martha of Liberty, Mo., and Mark Arbuckle and wife Sabrina of Pittsburg, Kansas. Two sisters Doris Scrudder, and Eva Davis. Three brothers Junior Billingsley, Floyd Billingsley, and Leon Billingsley She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Josephus Billingsley, her mother Flora Billingsley.
