Daughter of Raymond and Mabel (Ferguson) Fenner. Her husband of 49 years, George W. Bishop Sr., died in 1998. Mrs. Bishop was the first female police officer in Upton, and worked many years in the Upton Post Office. She moved to Myrtle Beach, S.C. in 1986.
