George Blackwell, 81 years old, a retired Pennsylvania Railroad employee, died yesterday in his home.
A native of Louisville, Mr. Blackwell had lived in Indianapolis 54 years. He was employed by the railroad 24 years and retired 15 years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm. tomorrow in the chapel of the Peoples Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Crown Cemetery.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Georgia Blackwell; a son, Joseph; two daughters, Ruth and Frances, and eight grandchildren, all of Indianapolis.
