Beulah was born in Anderson Co, TX to James and Eula Bozeman Blackwell. She is buried beside her husband, Willie P. Beard, who she married 19 January 1921 in Anderson County.

OBITUARY: Palestine (TX) Herald-Press, Sunday, 17 February 1980:

Funeral services for Mrs. Beulah E. Beaird, 74, of Porter and formerly of Elkhart, will be at 2 p.m. today in Bailey Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Videl Jones officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Mrs. Beaird died at 5 p.m. Friday in Anderson County Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.

She was born Dec. 28, 1905, a daughter of Jim and Eula Bozeman Blackwell. She had lived in Porter for several years after making her home in Elkhart.

Survivors include a son, Jim A. Beaird of Porter, a stepson, W. P. Beaird Jr. of Grapeland; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Lois Cummings of Elkhart and Mrs. Lena Mae Tate of Grapeland; two brothers, Willie Blackwell of Greenville and Edward Rollins of Palestine; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Condolence calls will be received at the Weldon Hodge residence, Elkhart.
