Florence Elnora Herrick Blair, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother passed away Feb. 27, 2001.
Florence was born December 12, 1906 in Ogden, Utah to Nelson Amos Herrick and Rachel Lucinda Browning Herrick. She married Seth Harvey "Bus" Blair, Jr. in the Salt Lake Temple December 1, 1930. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and shared her love of Christ and the Gospel with all who came in contact with her. She held a deep love for all of her family members and was especially mindful of her grandsons and great-grandsons who were serving LDS missions, supplying them with inspirational stories throughout their missions. Her grand children were always anxious to go to Grandma's house for their favorite meals and to check on the rose bushes that Grandma planted for each of them. Florence was the family historian and loved to share stories about her childhood with her 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Florence's unconditional love and dedication to her family will be dearly missed by all who know and love her.
Florence is survived by her daughters, Susan (James) Smith and Kristine (Robert) Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Bus, and children Bonnie Lou and Robert.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 5, 2001, 11 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E. 1300 So. Friends may call prior to services from 10:30-11. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
