Geraldine Annice Bangerter, age 84, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011 in Bountiful, UT. Born February 11, 1927 in Ogden, Utah, to Leo Amos and Myrtle Christensen Blair.

She married Neslin Bangerter on May 20, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was gifted in music and writing.

Jeri was an active member of the LDS Church, holding many positions throughout her life and fulfilled seven missions with Neslin, including genealogy missions. She had a great love for genealogy work and was an expert on her pioneer heritage. Held several positions as a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers and was also a member of Daughters of the American Revolution.

Jeri is survived by her husband, Neslin; 10 children: Lawrence (Charlett) Bangerter, N. Kent (Wendy) Bangerter, Sandra (Dan) Aldrich, Russell (Leslie) Bangerter, David (Susan) Bangerter, Susan (James) Scavetta, Robin (Gloria) Bangerter, April (Brett) Booth, Maren Nelson and Jill (Brad) Dymock; a sister, Bonnie Lorence; 42 grandchildren and 70 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Berdell Blair.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Rolling Hills LDS Ward Chapel, 1825 North 200 East, Centerville. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Friday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.

Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
