Anthony E. Blake, age 52, of Bridgeport passed away on March 12, 2011 in Bridgeport Hospital. Anthony was born in Nottingham England to the late Josiah Blake and Sylvia Blake before moving into the Bridgeport area many years ago. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Julie blake of Bridgeport; his children Randy, Anthony, Maria, Toni, Diamond, Ricardo, Anthony M., Patricia and Erica; his brothers Rodney, Johnny and Joyner; sisters Sally, Vanda, Valerie and Zoe; and a host of nieces, nephews, close friends and grandchildren who will dearly miss him. In addition to his father Anthony was predeceased by his brother the late Paul Blake, and one sister the late Julie Blake. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, March 18, 2011 at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home ), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport beginning at 10 a.m. until 1p.m. followed by a service in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
