Died 12:20 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, 1995, at Lane Memorial Hospital Nursing Home, Zachary. She was 86, a resident of Zachary and a native of Napoleonville. She was a retired hairdresser. Visiting was held at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Zachary, 3 to 9 p.m. Monday. Visiting at the funeral home 8:30 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday. Religious services at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Zachary, at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge. Survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Ruth Roubique, Baton Rouge, and Joyce Roy Bourgeois, Zachary; a son and daughter-in-law, Erby and Rosalie Aucoin Jr., Metairie; three sisters, Barbara Kelly, Zachary, Lillian Daigle, Napoleonville, and Vivian Boudreaux, Baton Rouge; 16 grandchildren; andnumerous great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Erby Aucoin Sr.; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Blanchard; a sister, Lena Talbot; three brothers, Wilber, Clyde and Earl Blanchard; and a son-in-law, Kenneth H. Robique. She was an honorary lifetime member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
