She was active in community organizations including serving as resident of the Draper PTA; the Rotterdam Boys Club, serving on the board and the ladies auxiliary for 30 years; and organized the Boys Club Golf Tourneys and Charity Balls each year.
She enjoyed playing golf and tennis player.
Predeceased by her husband James E. Allen, her son James C. Allen, her brother William Blanchard and her sister Mildred Bronk.
Survived by her daughter and husband; two grandchildren; three loving great grandchildren
