Mrs. Barrett, Evelyn, 65, of 39 Clover Street, died in her home Friday after a long illness. She was born in Burlington on May 8, 1889, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Xiste Blanchette. She was the widow of Daniel J Barrett.
She leaves one son, Norman; four daughters, Miss Arlyne and Miss Colleen Barrett, Sister Mary Petronilla of Mount St Marry Academy, and Mrs. Kathleen Barrett of Boston, Massachusetts; one brother, Walter Blanchette, of Waltham, Massachusetts; and several nieces and nephews.
Until the hour of the services on Monday at 110 a.m. in St John Vianney Roman Catholic Church, friends may call at Elmwood Memorial, 97 Elmwood Avenue, Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. Burrial will be in the family lot in Resurrection Park Cemetery. The rosary will be recited Sunday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. J. Meunier in charge of arrangements.
