Chester, of the Carewest Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre, passed away at the Peter Lougheed Centre on Thursday, April 8, 2004 at the age of 73 years.

Born in Nordegg, Alberta he is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by his sister Anna Ashmore, who lovingly took care of him for many years, and his brother John Blasetti, and Barry Matthews, a most loving and devoted friend, and his loving and most helpful Godmother Julie Blasetti. He will also be loved and missed by his special nieces and nephews, Carol (Joe) Geremia; Linda (Silvano) Perizzolo; Roberto (Bonnie) Geremia and their children, Anthony and Adriana; Paolo (Johanne) Perizzolo and their children, Matthew and Mattea; Lorieanne (Mark) Mazurak and their daughter Sierra; Angelo Perizzolo; Enio (Chantel) Perizzolo and their son Eric; as well as numerous other relatives.

Chester, who spent his career working for Greyhound Bus Lines, was an ardent lover of horses.

His family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful and supportive staff at the Fanning Centre for the care given and the compassion for Chester.

Funeral Mass celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 1714 - 14 Avenue N.E. on Wednesday, April 14 at 10:30 a.m. Interment followed in St. Joseph's Section, Queen's Park Cemetery.
