Daughter of James & Eliza Blasingame. Wife of John Allen.

Mrs. Caroline Allen, age 77, died at her home in Kirklin, Sunday morning at 4:30 o'clock following an illness of only a few days. Death was due to a complication of ailments.

Mrs. Allen was born on the 18th day of October, 1852, and was the daughter of James and Eliza Blasingame. In early womanhood she united in marriage with John Allen. For many years, she had been a member of the Bogantown Christian Church.

Surviving are two sons, Forrest Allen of near Kirklin, and James Allen of Lebanon; one brother, Thornton Blasingame of Lebanon; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Freeman of near Pickard; and Mrs. Georgia Mutchler of Nebraska; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services ere held at the Bogantown Christian Church Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock with Rev. Coy officiating. Interment was made in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
