Fond du Lac Reporter, Thurs. May 18, 1995, p. B6, c. 1. Regina Petrie Oakley, 90, of Mt. Calvary, died unexpectedly on Wed. May 17, 1995, at her home. She was born on Feb. 10, 1905, in Mt. Calvary, a daughter of Charles and Gertrude Schneider Blatz. On May 8, 1928, she married Anthony Petrie at Mt. Calvary. He died in 1937. On Nov. 17, 1945, she married Chester Oakley. He died in 1987. She attended Holy Cross Catholic Grade School in Mt. Calvary. She resided all her life in Mt. Calvary and was a member of Holy Cross Church and its Christian Mothers Society, and Mt. Calvary Homemakers. Survivors include one son, Delmar Petrie and his wife Sylvia of Mt. Calvary; one daughter-in-law, Joyce Petrie of Mt. Calvary, seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one sister, Viola Meyer of Mt. Calvary; and two brothers, Clem Blatz and his wife Bibiana of Mt. Calvary and Norbert Blatz of New Holstein. In addition to both husbands, she was preceded in death by one son, Bill Petrie; one brother, and two great-grandsons. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Huss Funeral Home in St. Cloud and at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mt. Calvary. The Rev. Peter Kutch will officiate. Burial will be Saturday at the parish cemetery. Visitation is at the funeral home on Friday from 4 p.m. to the time of services.
