Eugene H. Blatz, age 83, died Sunday, April 3, 2016, at Circle of Life, in Bentonville, Arkansas.
He was born February 3,1933 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, the son of Clarence Charles and Theodora (Gilgenbach) Baltz.
He and Patricia L. Strebe were married in 1963.
He moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas in 1983, following his retirement, where he enjoyed golfing and spending time with friends. He spent winters in Bella Vista and summers in Crosslake, Minnesota, where he and Mrs. Helen Swore were married on May 15, 1999.
He was an usher of both Immaculate Heart Church in Crosslake and Saint Bernard Catholic Church. He enjoyed many activities with the Men's Club. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Patricia L. (Strebe) Blatz; and a grandson, Danny Blatz.
He is survived by his wife, Helen (Flynn) Blatz; two sons, Joseph Blatz (Elizabeth) and Peter Blatz (Tammy); a brother, Clarence "Fuzzy" Blatz; a sister, Lola Braun; four grandchildren; three step-children, Lori (Roger) Sorenson, L. Butch (Brenda) Isensee and Lanny (Kathy) Isensee; seven step-grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 8, 2016 at Saint Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista.
Visition will be 9:30 a.m. until service at the church.
Interrment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
