The North Westchester Times ; New Castle Tribune June 07 1962 - died in Tel Aviv Friday while on a tour in Europe, accompanied by her sister Mrs Esther Sacks. Husband, Harry Abel died in 1934. They opened a store in Mt Kisco in 1910. After WWII, with son Lawrence Abel, built a new store. Jewish - dtr of Mr and Mrs Lazur Block. Her son Larry flew to Israel to make arrangements to have the body returned to the US. Besides her son she is survived by a dtr Mrs Ruth Kubetz, and sister Mrs Sacks. Another son, Bernard died in 1942.
