Brother dies at San Jose Sunday
Andrew Block, 88, of San Jose, Calif., died there in a hospital Sunday night. He was a brother of Pete Block, Mrs. P. E. Nielsen and Mrs. A. G. Hanson of Superior.
Funeral services were Wednesday afternoon at San Jose and burial was there also.
Mr. Block lived in this area for many years. (Superior, Nebraska)
Survivors also include two sons, Harry and Carl Block, San Jose; a daughter, Mrs. Melvin Slipsager (Elna), Portland, Ore.; and grandson, Lester Slipsager, also of Portland.
Mrs. Block died in 1975.
