The "Flint Daily News", predecessor of the Flint Journal, recorded: "Jerush[i]a, widow of the late Jeremiah Andrews, died at her home in Genesee yesterday aged 74 years." (Flint Daily News, "Fragments of Flint", 24 Dec 1898, p 3).
