Carol Dawn Brindley Blood, 86, of Richfield, formerly of Angle, passed away October 5, 2017 in Enoch, Utah at the home of her daughter. Carol was born December 1, 1930, in Salina, Utah to Cebrun Arthur and Lois Ruth Walbeck Brindley, the youngest of six girls. She married Afton Glen Blood on September 27, 1946 in the St. George Temple. He preceded her in death April 11, 2013. They were blessed with 4 children, Layne, Kerry, Bryan, and Camee.

Carol was raised in Angle, Utah and returned to raise her family there after the death of her father. She moved to Richfield with Afton after her health declined, but her heart was always in Angle with the beautiful red ledges.

Carol was known for her candy making skills especially Boston Cremes and her wonderful homemade bread. She loved little children especially her grandchildren and her great- grandchildren, whom she loved to have come visit.

Carol was an active member of the LDS Church where she served in many callings. She served with her husband in the St. George Temple for 5 years, which was a highlight in her life.

Carol is survived by her children: Layne (Ilene), Angle; Bryan (Cathy), Richfield; Camee (Scott) Zingelman, Enoch; daughter-in-law, Jackie, St. George; foster son James (Natalie) Clauson, Salina; 14 grandchildren 33 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, Kerry G. Blood; grandson, Brant K Blood; sisters: Gail Coates, Opal Torgerson, Regina Torgerson,Wilma Torgerson, Beth Gleave.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Circleville Chapel. Friends may call on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Magleby Mortuary from 6:00-8:00p.m and also prior to services at the church in Circleville from 9:30-10:30a.m. Burial will be in the Blood Family Cemetery in Angle.
