William Michael "Mike" Blount 59 of Hilliard, passed on Sept. 20, 2015 at Kobacker House. He was born Jan. 29, 1956 in Charleston, WV to Paul and Mae Blount who both preceded him in death. He was also preceded by wife Tamara Taynor-Blount; ex-wife Teresa Capuana. Survivors include son Chad, and daughter Tara (Art); grandchildren Hannah, Jenna, and Makenna; siblings Rick (Robin), John (Molly), Patty (Scott) Church, and Paula (David) Black; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Mike was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local Union #24, and was an avid reader. He attended Hilliard United Methodist Church, and was a graduate of the class of 1974 at Franklin Heights High School where he was a standout athlete in baseball, basketball, and football. He also loved the Ohio River area where he lived for many years.

Visitation will be held from 11- 1PM Tuesday Sept. 22, 2015 with a funeral service at 1PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW, 3393 Broadway Grove City, OH 43123. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Kobacker House.
