ROCK HILL – Gilbert Billy Larson Blue, 82, of 1480 Hopewell Road, died Saturday, June 11, 2016, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Catawba Ward. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday, at Whitesell Funeral Home.
Born in Rock Hill, Gilbert was the son of the late Guy and Eva George Blue.
He is survived by his wife, Libby Sharpe Blue; two sons, Chris Blue (Cathy) and Glenn Blue (Michelle); a daughter, Denise Gilbert (Steve); two sisters Jeannette Largo and Gail White; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Guy Lesslie Blue; and two sisters, Sylvia Caudle and Toy Murray.
