Amaryllis Warner (misspelled "Amarillas" on grave marker) was born in New Milford. She was a daughter of Mary (Welch) and Elizur Warner of that town. Her father was known as Deacon Elizur Warner. She married Homer Boardman, also of New Milford, on Nov 14, 1787. Their children were: Charles Adolphus (b. 1788), Esther "Hetty" Orinda (b. 1792), Harriet Maria (b. 1795), Sarah (b. 1798), Oliver Warner (b. 1799), Daniel Homer (b. 1803)and Laura Amaryllis Boardman (b. 1806). The family lived and farmed at the Boardman homestead at Boardman's Bridge. Her portrait was painted by artist Ralph Earl in 1789.
