Aurelia Boeck, 92, of Waupun, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, at Marvin's Manor in Waupun.

Aurelia was born May 17, 1919, in the town of Lomira, the is a daughter of Alvin and Selma (Franke) Machmueller. She married Alphonse Boeck September 13, 1941, at Brownsville. They resided in the Brownsville area most of their married lives. She was a proprietor of Boeck's Bar in Brownsville and Boeck's Bar at the corner of Highway 49 and V. She also worked for Brownsville Community Club. Aurelia is a past member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Brownsville and its ladies aid society. Upon moving to Waupun, she was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupun.

Aurelia was preceded in death by her husband, Alphonse Boeck in 1973, and a daughter, Joyce Peachey in 2008. She is survived by a sister, Doris (Roger) Rusch Gassner of Mesa, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Boeck of Mayville; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 17, at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with the Rev. Christopher Doerr officiating. Burial followed at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Brownsville.
