Emma Boeck, age 86, of Monroe, died on July 19, 2011 at the Monroe Manor Nursing Home. She was born on September 19, 1924, the daughter of Jacob and Ellen (Fels) Schiess. She attended Warren, IL Schools. Emma and Orville Boeck were married on September 20, 1945 in South Wayne. After their marriage Emma and Orville farmed in the Winslow, IL area and later Emma worked for Oaktron Industries for over 30 years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, St. Omar Chapter #90, Past State Mother Advisor for International Order of Rainbow Girls, and Grand Cross of Colors for Rainbow Girls. She was survived by her husband Orville of Monroe; sons; daughter; brothers; sisters; also 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her Parents; brothers, Kenneth and Emil Schiess, and a sister, Mary Lou Rhines.
